(A story of 30 years old carpenter, dil bahadur is also similar. To prove his bravery among his friends, he dared to light a fire-cracker keeping it on his own hand which resulted into a serious injury in his hand and his eyes making his work and livelihood difficult.)<br \/>\n(Deewali is enjoyed lighting fire-crackers but your small negligence can lead to injuries in your eyes ranging from minor injuries to injuries severe enough to make you permanently blind.)<\/p>\n<h4>What to do to keep your eyes safe?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Prevention is always better than cure and prevention is always the best way so, to keep your eyes safe I am sharing here few important points.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Always burst the firecrackers in the open spaces only.<\/li>\n<li>  Especially keep the children away and under your supervision.<\/li>\n<li>  While lighting or watching the crackers stay at the safe distance.<\/li>\n<li>   As much as possible wear cotton clothes and avoid nylon, silk or synthetic clothes.<\/li>\n<li>    Be careful and ensure that there are no combustible or inflammatory things nearby while lighting crackers.<\/li>\n<li> Use of safety glasses or goggles can protect your eyes from the injury.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(This festival of lights, deewali, has made the life of Sani maya, a 10 year child, dark since she has suffered some injuries to her eye while she was watching the neighbours play fire-crackers.
